This Ginkgo leaf pendant has been created by Maddy and directly inspired by Nature.
It is cast in solid sterling silver, with a New Zealand Green or Grey Jade cabochon insert.
 
The Ginkgo Biloba tree is the last living species of the Ginkgoales which appeared 290 millions years ago. Fossils of the genus Ginkgo extend as far as 170 million years old. This tree is considered by many as a living fossil.
This tree has been used in tradiotnal Chinese medicine since the 11th century.
It is, still to this day, the offcial tree of the Japanese capital Tokyo .
 
This piece can be cast in solid sterling silver, yellow gold or bronze, and different stones can also be set on demand.
